Admissions Overview
A Catholic education is one of the best gifts parents can give their children. Respect, morality and self-discipline for life distinguishes Catholic education.
Our school is a ministry of St. Therese Parish that promotes students’ spiritual, moral and academic development within the tradition of the Catholic faith.
It is through the faithful stewardship of all our parishioners that we are able to provide an excellent Catholic school. Stewardship is the grateful response of a Christian disciple who recognizes and receives God’s gifts and shares these gifts in love of God and neighbor. As stewards we recognize everything we have and all that we are is a gift from God. We respond to that gift by giving our first fruits in:
-
Prayer - spending time with God individually, communally and as a family
-
Participation in the life of the Church and greater community by sharing our God-given talents
-
Giving of our financial treasures - sacrificially, proportionally and generously
Our goal is to make a Catholic education affordable for as many families as possible. For this reason, we offer the possibility of The Stewardship Model. This is a partnership among the family, the parish, and the school. The cost to educate one child is approximately $6,200. We realize that most families, particularly those with more than one child, would find this prohibitive.
For parishioners who have a history of stewardship and who complete and fulfill their annual stewardship commitments, we offer the opportunity to give their children a Catholic education.
We ask all parish households to complete an annual pledge card, to the parish. The amount of your pledge is what you decide to give and is not determined by the parish or school. Completing a pledge card allows for certain additional benefits such as being able to rent the parish hall for a discounted rate and being able to send one’s children to St. Therese School.
The Stewardship Model makes a quality Catholic education available to the vast majority of our parish families. It also assumes active, regular participation in parish life through the Sunday celebration of the Eucharist.
Tuition
We also welcome the opportunity to partner with families who are not Catholic but see the value of our school through The Tuition Model. Sometimes Catholic families may choose the tuition model as well. The tuition cost is as follows:
Tuition for 1 student: $6,100.00
Tuition for 2 students: $11,500.00
Tuition for 3 or more students: $15,685.00
Additional Considerations
Regardless of the model you choose, all families are required to pay an all-inclusive fee to the school. This fee includes such items as technology, books, field trips, etc. The fee may be paid at once or over a ten-month period. The fees are as follows:
$1,650 in fees for 1 student
$2,200 in fees for 2 students
$2,395 in fees for 3 or more students
